YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is currently doing his Memantha Siddham Bus Yatra. He will be filing his nomination on 25th of this month in Pulivendula.
Jagan’s election affidavit will be most-talked about when he files his papers that day.
The election commission puts the affidavits on its website.
The affidavit will contain all the details of cases against Jagan Mohan Reddy.
In 2019, his affidavit was forty seven pages long and out of that, twenty one pages are about the pending cases on Jagan.
There are thirty one cases mentioned in the Affidavit altogether.
These cases were booked by the CBI and the Enforcement Directorate under Prevention of Corruption and Act Money Laundering Act among others.
There are eleven pages mentioning Jagan’s assets, properties, investments, etc.
Luckily for Jagan, the cases did not increase thanks to being in power for the last five years.
But still, Jagan’s affidavit will be long enough to trigger discussion.
It will be also interesting to see how much his assets have increased in these five years.
According to the 2019 affidavit, Jagan owns assets of more than Rs 375 crore. His wife Bharathi Reddy declared assets of 124 Crore while his daughters have movable assets of Rs 11 crore.
He also mentioned that his total investments were Rs 317 crore while that of wife were Rs 62 crore.
