Recently, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was hit by a stone by unidentified individuals, while he was campaigning in Vijayawada.
Since the day of the attack, the police have been actively investigating the case. They have recently arrested a couple of persons for their alleged connection with the indecent.
Satish, who belongs to the Vaddera community, has been named the A1 in the case. A person named Durga Rao has been named as the accused no.2 (A2).
Upon the court’s order, Satish was sent to Nellore district jail. On the other side, the police took Durga Rao into custody and interrogated him.
Just because Durga Rao works at the TDP office, YCP leaders alleged TDP’s involvement in the matter. However, TDP leaders strongly denied the allegations.
Amid the verbal war between both party leaders, the police now gave a twist by declaring that Durga Rao was innocent and released him. He was taken back to home last night.
The cops stated that Durga Rao has no connection with the case and thus, he is being released. However, they gave notice under CrPC 160 and stated that they may take Durga Rao for investigation once again if needed.
