Mahindra & Mahindra has unfolded new details of the new XUV 3XO subcompact SUV that’s ready to debut on 29th April. This time around, the carmaker shared information about its interior features and performance figures. The latest teaser confirms that the new Mahindra XUV 3XO will come with a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox, replacing the old AMT unit with the diesel motor. It’s claimed to deliver a fuel efficiency of 20.1kmpl. While the specific engine-gearbox combination providing this mileage has not been disclosed, it’s likely to be the new diesel-automatic combination. Talking about the powertrains, the new Mahindra XUV 3XO will be made available with the 110PS, 1.2L turbo petrol, 130PS, 1.2L TGDi turbo petrol and 117PS, 1.5L diesel engine options. All these motors will get a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard. However, the 1.2L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel units can also be had with a 6-speed AMT and the new 6-speed automatic transmission, respectively.

Furthermore, the official teaser reveals that the new XUV 3XO SUV will be capable to do 0 to 60kmph in 4.5 seconds. The subcompact SUV will continue to come with three drive modes – Zip, Zap and Zoom.
Interior of the new Mahindra SUV will have a completely new dashboard featuring dual 10.25-inch screens one for the infotainment system and the other for the driver display. The climate control panel will also be updated.
Interestingly, the XUV 3XO will be the first vehicle in its segment to come with a panoramic sunroof. It will also get push button start/stop, dual zone AC, rear AC vents, cruise control, ventilated front seats and wireless phone charging.
For the safety provision, there will be 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, electronics stability control and many more fitments. While the complete list of features has not yet been disclosed, reports suggest that the new Mahindra XUV 3XO will come with a 360 degree camera and ADAS tech.
