There was a match between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians in IPL on Saturday. After the match played in Delhi, an unofficial meeting was held between BCCI Chief Selector Ajit Agarkar and Rohit Sharma. ICC T20 World Cup 2024 squad selection was discussed in the meeting.

After the meeting, a BCCI selection committee source told ANI that Rishabh Pant and KL Rahul are likely to be selected for the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 squad as wicketkeepers. Chennai all-rounder Shivam Dubey is also expected to be included in the squad.

Pant scored 371 runs this season
Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant has once again returned to the cricket field after the accident through IPL 2024. Pant has performed brilliantly in IPL 2024. He scored 371 runs in 10 matches at an average of 46.38 and strike rate of 160.60. Pant is included in the top-5 in the list of Orange Cap.

KL Rahul in great form
Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul is the third highest scorer in the current IPL. This wicketkeeper-batsman has scored 378 runs in 9 matches at an average of 42 and strike rate of 144.27.

Shivam Dubey CSK’s second top scorer Shivam Dubey is in tremendous form this season. Dubey has scored 311 runs in 8 matches at a strike rate of 169.94 with three half-centuries. His highest score is 66*. Dubey is the second highest run scorer for his franchise CSK this season.

Opening match of T-20 World Cup between Canada and America
This time the T20 World Cup will be played in West Indies and America from June 2 to 29. The opening match of the tournament will be held between Canada and home team America in Dallas. The final match will be held on June 29 in Barbados city of West Indies. Super-8 and knockout matches will be held in West Indies.
