The new Mahindra XUV 3XO is expected to get design and feature upgrades over the current XUV300.

Mahindra XUV 3XO: Expected exterior design
From the recent teasers and spy shots, it is very evident that the facelifted Mahindra XUV 300 will receive significant design updates over its predecessor. Starting up front, the bi-LED projector headlamp cluster with C-shaped LED DRLs on each side is all-new. The headlamp setup flanks a revised front grille featuring a gloss black panel with a diamond-studded pattern. As a result, we expect the front bumper to be reprofiled as well.

The side profile is likely to remain intact with the same roof rails and flared wheel arches, however, the all-black 16-inch alloy wheels will be new. The rear too gets a completely different look thanks to C-shaped LED taillamps with a connected LED stripe across the tailgate. The tailgate itself appears to be heavily tweaked with the registration plate now moving to the rear bumper. Mahindra’s twin peak logo in chrome is carried forward from the current model with the ‘XUV 3XO’ lettering underlying it.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: New features
The upcoming XUV 3XO is expected to gain several features and creature comforts over the outgoing XUV300 including a larger 10.2-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system. Other novel additions will include a fully-digital instrument console, a first-in-segment panoramic sunroof, remote climate control, ventilated front seats, a 7-speaker Harman Kardon audio system, and voice assist commands from the more advanced AdrenoX UI.

Safety features in the XUV 3XO are likely to include 6 airbags, electronic stability program, traction control, 360-degree surround camera, and lane watch camera. The new XUV 3XO could also witness the addition of Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) and join the likes of Venue and Sonet in the segment.
Mahindra XUV 3XO: Expected engine options
The powertrain department on the Mahindra XUV 3XO is likely to remain unchanged. There will be two petrol engine options on offer– a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, and a higher-spec 1.2-litre T-GDI mStallion turbo petrol unit. The former churns out 109 bhp and 200 Nm of peak torque whereas the latter delivers 128 bhp and 250 Nm torque.

There will also be a 1.5-litre diesel
