The Mahindra XUV 3XO is the latest offering from the indigenous automaker, representing a heavily updated version of the XUV300 subcompact SUV. The SUV comes in nine trims—MX1, MX2, MX2 Pro, MX3, MX3 Pro, AX5, AX5 L, AX7, and AX7 L—with prices ranging from Rs 7.49 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Interested buyers can book the model from 15th May, with deliveries set to commence nationwide on 26th May 2024. The new XUV 3XO undercuts most of its rivals in terms of pricing and offers several segment-first features, along with sixteen mono and dual-tone color options.

We have already covered the variant-wise features and highlighted the most value-for-money variant of the Mahindra XUV 3XO. Here’s a recap of its key details. The engine setup for the subcompact SUV remains unchanged. It offers a 111 bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol, a 130 bhp, 1.2L petrol, and a 1.5L diesel engine.
The entry-level MX1, MX2 Pro, MX3, and AX5 trims are equipped with the 111 bhp, 1.2L turbo petrol engine and come with two gearbox options: a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. The manual variants deliver an ARAI-certified mileage of 18.89 kmpl, while the automatic variants offer 17.96 kmpl.
Most variants are available with a 117 bhp, 1.5L diesel engine paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed AMT gearbox, providing a fuel efficiency of 20.6 kmpl and 21.2 kmpl, respectively. The AX5 L and higher variants are equipped with the more powerful 131 bhp, 1.2L direct-injection petrol engine. This engine comes with either an Aisin-sourced 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission or a 6-speed manual gearbox. The manual and automatic variants achieve fuel efficiencies of 18.2 kmpl and 20.1 kmpl, respectively.
The new Mahindra XUV 3XO is the first vehicle in its segment to offer Level 2 ADAS technology and a panoramic sunroof. Features such as a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto hold, blind spot monitoring, and hill start and hill descent assist are reserved for the higher trims.
