Guns, Deaths and Violence it is a common phenomenon these days. As the time goes by, the act of violence is increasing, something similar happened on April 19 at Schrom Hills Park, where hundreds of students gathered to celebrate senior skip day.
Amidst the huge gathering aimless gunshots started taking place resulting in five people to the hospital.
Two teens have been arrested as they were primarily connected with the senior skip day gunfire but the shooters fled among the scattering crowd.
The skip day was not a school event but is a widely known tradition in Prince George’s County.
Prince George’s County State’s Attorney Aisha Braveboy is very much against this whole skip day. According to her, Skip Days are not the same thing which used to happen, the new age kids deserve a safe environment to grow up, but because of all this violence she is very much concerned.
The five childrens who were admitted to the hospital were between the age group of 16 to 18, all of them have been released.
But the two primary suspects have been charged with attempt to murder and gun charges and are charged as adults.
