Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan warned people that they will lose power over their lands once the AP Land Titling Act is implemented.
They alleged that by digitalising the land records, YCP and its leaders are planning to illegally grab the lands of people.
Speaking at Markaapuram today, Chandra Babu Naidu questioned the presence of Jagan’s photograph on the Pattadhar passbook. He asked whether it was Jagan or an individual’s ancestors who allocated the land. He said that the YCP is trying to tamper land records online with this rule.
“Even though we own the land rightfully, Jagan dictates terms including surveying and determining land boundaries. In the future, he will manipulate online records to illegally acquire our lands,” he added.
On the other side, Pawan Kalyan warned people and even Jagan supporters that if they vote for YCP, they are endangering their assets.
Pawan alleged that the local MLA Dulam Nageshwar Rao’s son had illegally grabbed 50 acres of land despite valid documentation.
“Under the YCP’s new rule, people must validate their land ownership at revenue offices. If we fail to prove it, someone like YCP leaders will grab it illegally. We can’t even go to police stations or even local courts. Apparently, we have to fight the case in the High Court,” said Pawan.
Pawan questioned how small landowners in a small village could go all the way to Amaravati and fight for their lands. He alleged that the YCP intends to trap citizens in legal trouble by illegally grabbing their lands
