The ongoing season of IPL has nearly sorted out the playoffs race and what can be said for certain is that Mumbai Indians and RCB are out of the race already. This brings us to the topic, who is the most trolled and hated player of IPL 2024 – Hardik Pandya.
After taking over the captaincy reigns from Rohit Sharma, Hardik was instantly disowned by the larger section of Indian fans. Even Mumbai Indians fans started hating him and this was seen when Hardik was being booed by Mumbai crowds in home games.
Coming to the performances, Hardik’s form with the bat and ball has been horrendous to say the least. He is getting out cheaply when coming out to bat and conceding big runs for very few wickets while stepping out to bowl.
Opposition teams hating a player is one thing but in the case of Hardik, he is hated by his own Mumbai team fans and this hasn’t happened ever in IPL.
At this rate, Hardik must put on a fine show in the fast approaching T20 World Cup as any mishaps here could well make him the most hated player in all of India.
