This December, the galaxy far, far away comes home with the release of ‘Star Wars At this point to zombie apocalypse world is no so strange to me. So I am amazed to see its representation in ‘The Skeleton Crew’ on Disney+. Checkered by a host of screenshot roleplayers under the watch of talented directors like Jon Watts, The Daniels, David Lowery, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jake Schreier, and Lee Isaac Chung, this show is about to become a good addition to the Star Wars universe.
While ‘Skeleton Crew’ is not just the usual take on the space saga, but a new exploration, from the perspective of four young hero; who trailed the epic journey of empty space. The story initiates at the mythic world, which suddenly plunges into the outrageous journey in a ponderous galaxy.
Besides the fact that Watts and Ford play the role of showrunners, they artfully blend the past and future into a unique web of stories and ideas. Executive producers like Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni provide the support needed for ‘Skeleton Crew’ to be a storytelling masterpiece featuring that familiar warm and fuzzy attitude of the classic Star Wars with the addition of something uniquely new.
