Don’t Send Jagan On A Holiday: CBI

CBI Court Jagan

YSR Congress Party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy planned to take a vacation after the polling of the general elections in Andhra Pradesh. He filed a petition requesting the CBI court to grant him permission for the same.

However, the CBI objected to Jagan’s request to travel abroad and requested the court to deny him permission.

The CBI court heard the petition today. In his plea, Jagan sought permission for a vacation in Europe from May 17 to June 1.

With polling in Andhra Pradesh scheduled to be held on May 13 and election results to be declared on June 4, Jagan wanted to go on a holiday during this interim period.

He sought permission to visit London, France, and Switzerland. He stated that it is a family trip. On the other side, the CBI argued against granting permission for Jagan’s holiday trip.

Following arguments from both sides, the court instructed the CBI to submit a counter. The court adjourned its verdict on May 14.

Meanwhile, Jagan is currently busy with the campaigning of his party for the upcoming general elections in the state.
