“Kannappa” is one of the most expensive productions now in the Telugu film industry. Manchu Vishnu plays the title character in this devotional flick. He is also a producer.
Vishnu cast some well-known actors from the Indian cinema industry in various roles in “Kannappa”. Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, and Shiva Rajkumar play key parts in this film on Lord Shiva devotee Kannappa’s life and story.
Now Prabhas has joined the sets. Prabhas, one of Indian cinema’s biggest stars, makes a special appearance in the film. Prabhas arrived on sets in Hyderabad today to wrap up filming for his tiny role.

Prabhas’s pedda nanna, Krishnam Raj, played main lead in “Bhakta Kannappa” in 1976, which was a major hit and is recognized as one of the best devotional films. Krishnam Raj planned to remake it with Prabhas, but it did not happen. Prabhas will now feature as a guest in Manchu Vishnu’s version of Krishnam Raj’s “Bhakta Kannappa.”
