The election fever has gripped the Telugu states, predominantly Andhra Pradesh with the anticipation hitting the peak on who will be the next CM. Incidentally, even the film community has gotten involved in the electoral roll.
Notably, Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun have pledged complete support to Pawan Kalyan. Chiru gave a cheque worth Rs 5 crore to Pawan and shared a social media video in his support, followed by social media posts from Charan and Allu Arjun.
Prabhas’s aunt, Shyamala Devi campaigned for NDA candidate Srinivas Varma in Narsapuram. Even historically, the Uppalapati family has been with the BJP and Prabhas can be pushed in the same bracket.
The only two superstars from the Tollywood top 6 who haven’t gotten involved in the electoral heat are Mahesh Babu and Jr NTR.
In the case of Mahesh, he usually looks to maintain diplomatic ties with whoever is in power. He generally shares congratulatory posts and wishes to whoever is in power and he comes across as an apolitical person.
The most attention is obviously on NTR Jr, but he too has been away from political affiliations for a while now. So expecting any TDP-affiliated posts from him at this point in time is nothing but wishful thinking.
All in all, NTR and Mahesh are the only two top 6 stars who have stayed away from the AP political space.
