The movie ‘Krishnamma’ starred Satyadev. VV Gopalakrishna directed this movie. This movie is produced by Krishna Kommalapati under the banner of Arunachala Creations under the banner of famous director Koratala Siva. But this film has come before the audience today. Let’s go to the review and find out how much it pleased!

Story:

Bhadra (Satyadev), Koti (Lakshman Meesala) and Shiva (Krishna Teja Reddy) are best friends. Moreover these three orphans. They are so fond of each other that they would give their lives for each other. However, Bhadra continues to supply crores of ganja. Shiva does not like that. In the wake of some dramatic developments in this sequence, Shiva falls in love with Meena (Athira Raj). What did Bhadra – Koti do for the love of their friend?, What were the turns in their lives?, How did Shiva die in this whole affair?, Who killed him?, How did Bhadra – Koti avenge Shiva’s death? That’s the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

Based on some real events, some emotions and play in this movie ‘Krishnamma’ as well as the main theme shown in the movie are moving the minds of the audience. The director has shown the bad behavior of some policemen and how they torture innocent people under the pressure of higher officials. The scenes where the police torture the hero and his friends with a false case are also very emotional and impressive.

Satyadev’s acting is amazing. Laxman Misala also acted very well in another key role. Krishna Teja Reddy was also impressed. Athira Raj’s role is unique to this film. As a heroine, she entertained well. Also, Raghu Kunche, Nandagopal and others are convincing in their roles. Director Vivi Gopalakrishna’s performance stands out in some emotional and action scenes.

Minus Points:

Although this Krishnamma movie is impressive at some places with mind-blowing emotional scenes, the lack of commercial elements and the feeling that the screenplay is very slow are the minus points of the movie. It would have been better if the director had made the first half of the story more interesting. In fact, although the emotions between the main characters are well established… it seems like a melodrama at some places.

Similarly, the unnecessary elements put in for comedy in the first half were not worked out effectively. Mainly the gripping narration is missing in some scenes. Although the background is taken anew… some scenes are routine. While watching the movie, there is a possibility to increase the excitement of the audience as to what will happen next and what kind of trouble the main characters will face, but the director Vivi Gopalakrishna did not drive the movie in that direction.

Technical Department:

Vivi Gopalakrishna, who was successful in taking a good plot, was a bit behind in writing an equally exciting story. But, some of the action scenes created by him are impressive. Music director Kala Bhairava’s music is good. The cinematography work is a special attraction of the movie itself. Producer Krishna Kommalapati should be congratulated for believing in the director’s idea and making such a realistic film. His production values are also very good.

Verdict:

In this emotional and revenge action drama called ‘Krishnamma’, the main content and some emotional scenes are good. Also the performance of the actors was impressive. If not, slow narration, lack of interesting content in the first half, and complete lack of commercial elements are the minuses of the movie. Overall, the emotional elements in this film are very impressive.
