Karimnagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi should explain to the people what good work he did during the past 10 years of his governance of the nation, BRS leader KT Rama Rao has said.
The Lok Sabha election for the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency would now be held after 10 years’ good rule of the BRS, 10 years of poisonous rule of the BJP and 150 days of ‘false’ rule of the Congress, he said.
The former minister along with Huzurabad BRS party MLA Padi Koushik Reddy participated in a road show in support of the BRS party’s Karimnagar LS candidate Boinapally Vinod Kumar in Huzurabad town of Karimnagar district on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, the BRS working president asked PM Modi, “Did you build any single project or start any welfare activity for the tribals and dalits during your 10-year rule?”
“Since the BJP government has done nothing in its 10 years of rule, it is showing the Ram Mandir that was constructed in Ayodhya. The BRS government also constructed the Yadadri temple under the leadership of KCR. But KCR also introduced several welfare schemes for all sections of the people, unlike any other CM, in his 10 years of rule of Telangana.”
“Modi was the first prime minister who imposed GST on the clothes and he is the first PM who brought new agriculture laws against the farmers. Even though the price of crude oil decreased in the world market, Modi imposed a 34 per cent tax on it and collected huge sums from the people.”
“BJP’s Karimnagar LS candidate Bandi Sanjay Kumar only knew how to create disputes among Muslims and Hindus and lift the chappals of Amit Shah. He insisted on digging below the Masjids across the state. As a parliamentarian, what good work has he done and how many funds did he bring from Delhi for the development of Huzurabad and Karimnagar,” KTR asked.
He said, “The Congress government which came to power by making many false promises betrayed the people of Telangana state. What happened to Ramzan Thofa, where is Rythu Barosa, Rythu Runamafi and one tola gold? It also made a promise to distribute scooty motor vehicles to girl students, but after coming to power started looty in the state.”
“Both the BJP and Congress are making a conspiracy to make Hyderabad a Union Territory. To give them a fitting lesson, I urge the people to elect an educated person like Vinod Kumar. He has a complete awareness on various issues and he will raise questions in Parliament and fight for sanctioning of funds to take up developmental works in the constituency,” Rama Rao said.
