Political enthusiasts are abuzz with predictions about which party will secure more seats and ultimately come to power in the state. The betting circles heavily favor the TDP, Jana Sena, and BJP alliance.
Initially estimating 100-110 seats for the alliance, recent projections suggest they may secure even more, possibly exceeding 120-130 seats.
The top 10 constituencies where competition is fierce include Pithapuram, Mangalagiri, Gannavaram, Gudivada, Undi, Kakinada City, Rajolu, Vijayawada East, Nagari, and Dharmavaram.
Additionally, significant bets are being placed in other constituencies like Nellore Rural, Cherala, Darshi, Guntur West, Vijayawada Central, and others.
According to sources, betting stakes ranging from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 50 lakh are reportedly being placed, including the poll results of Pawan Kalyan in the Pithapuram segment and Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s majority in the Pulivendula segment.
Notable bets include a businessman from Kakinada staking Rs. 2.5 crore on Pawan Kalyan’s majority of more than 50,000 in Pithapuram.
In Undi Constituency, the odds stand at 1:2 for the victory of alliance candidate Raghuramakrishna Raju. Additionally, bets are active on the majority of Chandrababu in Kuppam and Jagan in Pulivendula. In Pulivendula, Jagan’s record majority is at 1:3.
However, there’s been a notable shift in sentiment, with some of the YCP supporters backing out. For instance, a businessman who initially bet Rs. 25 lakhs on the YCP candidate’s majority in Kakinada has now settled with Rs. 5 lakhs.
