It looks like Warner Bros and DC Studios are in a rush to set deadlines for all their projects. The highly awaited and talked about film, Supergirl: Woman Of Tomorrow now has a release date. The movie is set to release in 2026, more than two years from now.
Supergirl recently found its director in Craig Gillespie, who has had experience of directing many Hollywood movies including I, Tonya. Supergirl is going to feature Milly Alcock in the lead role.
Milly Alcock will be seen in the role of Kara Zor-El, cousin of Superman from the movie Superman. She is widely famous for her role in House Of The Dragon. The screenplay of the movie has been written by Ana Nogueira with inspiration from Tom King and Bilquis Evely’s comic.
The shooting for the movie is planned to start this fall. It is the second movie from the DC Studios to get a release date after James Gunn and Peter Safran joined the team. Superman has already got a July 2025 release date and Supergirl is going to hit the screens all around the world on the 26th of June, 2026.
