Big Task Ahead For Revanth Reddy

With the conclusion of the Lok Sabha election polling in Telangana, all political parties have finished their campaign work and are now waiting for the results.

Meanwhile, the Congress government is returning to regular governance after two busy months of election campaigning.

According to the latest reports, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is planning to expand his cabinet next month. After winning the Telangana assembly elections in December last year, the Congress Party didn’t fill all the cabinet positions.

As per the rule, there should be 17 cabinet ministers in the state, excluding the Chief Minister. Currently, there are 11 cabinet ministers, so six positions are still open. Many senior MLAs are hoping to get these spots.

Initially, there were plans to expand the cabinet before the parliament elections, but the government decided to first evaluate the MLAs’ work before assigning ministries. This is why they delayed appointing new ministers.

Reportedly, an MLA from the Mudiraj community will be made a minister. We have to wait and see who it will be. From the Mahbubnagar district, it is heard that Makthal MLA Srihari might become a minister.

From Nalgonda, Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy is hoping for a minister position, but since there are already two MLAs from the same district and community, it may be difficult for him to get the post.

Currently, there are no ministers from districts like Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Adilabad, and Nizamabad. If they decide to appoint one minister from each of these districts, we have to see who will be chosen.

There are also rumours that some current cabinet ministers might be removed during the expansion. We will have to wait and see who those ministers will be.

Overall, the cabinet expansion in Telangana will be an interesting event following the general election results.
