Even in this week, not many notable popular films have entered the theaters. “Miral” translated from Tamil to Telugu is one of these few. This film in the thriller genre was originally released in 2022 and now in Telugu this year. And let’s see how this movie is in the review.

Story:

Coming to the story.. Rama (Vani Bhojan) is haunted by some nightmares about her husband Hari (Bharat) who escaped from an accident. In this sequence, Rama goes to her hometown as per her mother saying that all this will stop if she does certain things according to their customs. But one day Hari calls and asks to come back. While coming back in this order, the past ten years of their family will happen again like the incident that happened in a village. What actually happens is there. Whether Hari and his family have returned safely or not is the rest of the story.

Plus Points:

It must be said that Premetsa Bharath who appeared in this film gave a solid performance in his role. In the second half as the main, there are some scenes on him but his acting is very good.

Also, actress Vani Bhojan has done a neat job in her role. Along with him, the rest of the actors were impressed by the scope of their roles. Also, the cinematography was the main attraction in many scenes in the movie.

Minus Points:

There is not much to thrill in this film. The line seems ok but the way it is screened is not pleasing. Also what is the main concept will be understood within the first 15 minutes.

Also, the movie is unnecessarily drawn out with boring scenes. Also the horror scenes don’t feel that great. Also the Telugu dubbing seems to be the worst as if it is an already late movie. Dubbing works were done for the characters very poorly.

These are more irritating. Also KS Ravikumar, Master Ankit and other main characters are also wasted in this movie. At some places Bharat Roll also feels like that.

Technical Department:

The original production values are good but the Telugu dubbing is not good at all. Dubbing as main sounds very irritating. SN Prasad’s score would have been better. Also the cinematography by Suresh Bala is good. No editing by Kalaivanan. Some scenes and songs should be reduced. And when it comes to the director M Shaktivel, it must be said that he has failed as a director as well as a storyteller. Too many unnecessary twists have been written. A more uninteresting story becomes more watered down. With these, the film could not be launched in a pleasing manner.

Verdict:

As a whole, there is not much to say about the movie except for the main lead and just a few things in this “Miral”. The director’s narration and directorial failures could not make the movie interesting. Also the Telugu dubbing is irritating. But with these, this time and money should not be wasted, so it is better to stay away from this movie.
