Starring Lakshmi Manchu, Vedhika, and Rahul Vijay, “Yakshini” is a new socio-fantasy horror web series set to debut on OTT platforms soon.
At the trailer launch event in Hyderabad, Lakshmi Manchu addressed the social media trolling she and her family endure for every little thing they say or do.

Lakshmi responded, ” We can’t do with social media, we can’t do without social media these days. I started my career with TV and since then I have been facing heavy trolling. It used to hurt me a lot before. I thought since was belonged to a film family, I would be pampered a lot, and I would be praised a lot. But I never imagined people would be so harsh on me. Me or my family cannot be political, we speak our minds, and we speak things as they are. Some people like it, some people don’t. In the end, they are talking about me, that’s what matters.”
Produced by the team behind Baahubali, Yakshini aims to captivate audiences across various languages including Telugu, Malayalam, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, Bangla, and Marathi.

Partnering with Disney Plus Hotstar, the makers have set the release date for June 14. The web series is directed by Teja Marni.
