The public now had the taste of good entertainment served right in the palm of your hands. More so, movie going is a fun but it surmounts adjacent expenses, over the actual ordeal of going out. The social feeling of movies are just not worth the hype over the personalised experience. People can choose to watch a movie at their own pace.

Furthermore, the movies have to compete with an audience who has their attention span shrunken to not more than minutes. The longer movies are a daunting task for the audience. Whether it be Snyder cut, or the LOTR movies, they pose as hour long commitments.
Instead of maintaining their standings the movies have become a desperate measure of cash-grab opportunities. The Hollywood media milking off of on nostalgic side. Furthermore the public refuses to step out of their homes to actually go and experience movies.
