The IT team raided different locations of CL Gupta Export in Moradabad and Amroha.
Income tax raids have been conducted at the locations of CL Gupta Exports, a well-known exporter of Moradabad and Amroha. Income tax teams reached CL Gupta’s locations at 5 am on Tuesday with election duty stickers on their vehicles. The action was so confidential that the police were not informed about it.

Income tax teams have arrived with central paramilitary forces. So far, raids have been confirmed at the residence of CL Gupta Exporters located at Katghar Prabhat Market, CL Gupta World School located at Ramganga Vihar, CL Gupta Eye Institute located at Ramganga Vihar and CL Gupta Export Factory located at Jiwai on National Highway in Amroha. IT teams are also conducting search operations at the residence of Nitish Havelia, a relative of CL Gupta family, located at Ramganga Vihar since 5 am.
Apart from this, a raid was also conducted at the residence of a doctor couple. There is also news of IT raid at the residences of some accountants associated with CL Gupta company.

After the raid at CL Gupta’s residence, IT team officials came out but refused to say anything.

CL Gupta Company has received the award of top handicraft export in the country twice. The annual export of the factory is about Rs 500 crore. The company also has schools, hospitals and other businesses. CL Gupta Export is counted among the biggest exporters of Moradabad.
Bhaskar reporter tried to contact CL Export MD Ajay Gupta and other members of his family but all the numbers were switched off. During the raid at CL residence, members of the IT team came out at 11 am but refused to give any briefing about the raid.
IT team officials arrived along with security forces to raid various locations of CL Gupta.
