Nothing has announced a new “Phone 2a Special Edition” model showcasing a vibrant design that celebrates primary colours. Created by the Nothing Industrial Design Team based in King’s Cross, London, this new model emphasises red, yellow, and blue in a unique colourway, integrating these hues into a single piece of hardware for the first time.

The Phone 2a Special Edition pays homage to primary colours and their significance within Nothing’s brand identity. While red has been featured in the right earbud of all Nothing audio products, yellow appeared in the new Ear a, and blue was recently introduced with the Phone 2a Blue edition, this special edition marks the first instance where all three colours coexist in one device.
“We are very happy to unveil Phone 2a Special Edition. The first product to explore our palette of the primary colours; red, blue, and yellow. Its overall aesthetic references some of our design heroes from the past, whilst creating a new expression for a smartphone. Elevating a functional device into a striking piece of art,” said Adam Bates, Design Director at Nothing.
This special edition smartphone comes with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It is priced at Rs 27,999. The Phone 2a Special Edition will be available in limited quantities starting from June 5 on Flipkart
Nothing Phone 2a: Top specs, features
The Nothing Phone 2a has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 1080p resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The panel can peak 1300 nits and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 ‘pro’ chip and a 5,000mAh battery. The phone supports 45W fast charging.
Running the show is Nothing OS 2.5 based on Android 14. The phone is eligible for three years of major OS and four years of security updates. For photography, the Phone 2a has a dual camera setup on the rear with a 50MP wide (f/1.8, OIS) and another 50MP ultrawide (without autofocus).
