For those who don’t already know, X, formerly Twitter, issues a verified blue tick mark for official handles. It is common to see leading political parties have the blue ticks on Twitter as a token of authenticity.
But in the case of YSR Congress Party, the blue tick mark that the party had all these months has vanished all of a sudden. There is no blue tick parallel to the party handle’s name on Twitter which is a bit odd.
The followers of Kutami are satirically saying this is a result of all the fake propaganda that the YCP Twitter handle has been doing in the recent past. They’re even pointing at YCP handle’s recent tweets on false propaganda against Balayya where the party shared CG videos of liquor bottle alongside Balayya from the recent Gangs of Godavari event.
The Kutami activists are taking this occasion to troll YCP followers by saying their party’s official handle lost the verified tick mark and this will be followed by YCP losing power in Andhra Pradesh after the counting on June 4th.
YSR Congress hasn’t yet commented about losing the blue tick on Twitter.
