Hema, a popular actress known for playing character roles, is currently in judicial custody in connection with a rave party held in Bangalore. According to police, Hema was arrested for co-hosting a rave party where drugs were sold and consumed.
The court remanded her into judicial custody for 14 days.
Following this development, there is a demand within the MAA (Movie Artists’ Association) to expel her from the organization because she has harmed the orgnisation’s reputation. MAA President Manchu Vishnu has yet to make a decision.
Hema has been a long-standing member of the MAA. She has appeared in over 300 films thus far.
