Hero Xoom 110 Combat Edition has been launched in India at Rs 80,967 (ex-showroom, Delhi). It’s a special edition of the Xoom 110cc scooter, which is nearly Rs 1,000 more expensive than its top-end ZX variant. The edition has been painted in a new Matt Shadow Grey colour scheme and feature sporty neon Yellow and dark Grey graphics on the body. The two-wheeler maker says that the new paint scheme is inspired by fighter jets.
No other changes have been made to the new Hero Xoom 110 Combat Edition. Similar to the regular version, it offers a full digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity. The unit not only provides SMS and call alerts and phone battery status, but displays real time mileage, odometer, speedometer and other important information to the rider. You also get a USB charging port, a projector LED headlight, cornering lamps, a boot light and LED taillight.
For power, the new Hero Xoom 110 Combat Edition uses the same 110.9cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine benefited with i3S technology. The motor delivers a claimed power of 8.05PS and 8.70Nm of torque. Similar to the regular model, the special edition comes with the conventional telescopic fork upfront and a monoshock rear suspension. It derives stopping power from the 190mm front disc and 130mm rear drum brakes.
The scooter has been assembled with the 12-inch wheels shod with the 90-section front and 100-section rear tyres. It has a ground clearance of 155mm and carries a kerb weight of 109kg. The Xoom 110 offers a seat height of 770mm.
