After a crushing defeat, all YCP leaders went underground and aren’t seen anywhere in the mainstream media. Those who made challenges during the elections are nowhere to be seen now.

To dent Pawan Kalyan’s chances in Pithapuram, the YSR Congress Party recruited noted Kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham.
During the elections, Mudragada constantly attacked Pawan and asserted that he would never let Pawan win. He challenged that if Pawan won the elections, he would change his name to Mudragada Padmanabha Reddy.

Cut to counting day, Pawan emerged victorious in Pithapuram with a majority of over 71,000 votes. Mudragada completely failed to influence his community as the Kapu vote bank went to Pawan.
This morning, Mudragada accepted his defeat and stated that he is submitting an application requesting to change his name.

“I lost the challenge. As per my word, I got all the papers ready to apply for the change of my name. I am standing up to my challenge and will request to update my name in the gazette publication,” stated Mudragada.
He said that he would inform the press once his name gets updated in the gazette publication.
Poor Mudragada, he got sandwiched for no reason. This is an election where there is no stakes for him at all. He could not even get ticket for himself or his son.
