Kurnool: A tense situation is prevailing in Alasandaguthi village in Adoni mandal after activists of the Telugu Desam and YSRC parties clashed on Wednesday night.
According to police, the incident occurred while TDP activists were celebrating their party’s victory. YSRCP supporters objected and a quarrel ensued.
Following this, TDP groups entered into the houses of YSRC activists and damaged furniture, televisions, and other household goods.
Adoni police immediately responded and brought the situation under control. Adoni Rural circle inspector Niranjan Reddy said cases have been registered against members of both groups and an investigation is underway.
