Ramoji Group of Companies’ chairman Ramoji Rao’s final rites were held about a while ago at his “Smriti Vanam” at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.
Ramoji Rao passed away during the early hours of Saturday while undergoing treatment for breathing-related issues at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He was 87.

This morning, the government of Telangana conducted Ramoji Rao’s final rites with state honours. His son Kiran held the last rites of Ramoji Rao.
Many people from film, political and various other sectors visited RFC since yesterday to pay their last respects to Ramoji Rao.

Telugu Desam Party’s chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu got emotional during the final journey of Ramoji Rao’s body.
He also carried Ramoji Rao’s mortal remains on his shoulders. The video of this emotional moment has surfaced on social media. It showcases the bond between Chandrababu and Ramoji Rao.

Chandrababu Naidu took to social media to share the video and tweeted, “Attended the last rites of the Telugu luminary, Ramoji Rao garu, the beloved figure of the Telugu community. The heart aches with sorrow.”
“Though he is no longer with us, the inspiration of that great man will guide us forward. His legacy shines eternally like the rays of dawn. #RamojiRaoLivesOn,” he added.
