The first glimpse at Kamal Haasan’s role in Nag Ashwin’s “Kalki 2898 AD” was shown in a trailer released today.
Kamal Haasan appears at the end of the trailer with a very different look.
Kamal Haasan’s get-up is reminiscent of Gollum from “Lord of the Rings”. There are other similarities with other Hollywood sci-fi movie characters. Kamal Haasan mentions that a “new world will arrive soon,” alluding to the film’s second part.
He is believed to play the primary antagonist in this dystopian thriller. Prabhas is the film’s lead hero. Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone try to save the world, whilst Kamal Haasan does the opposite.
The legendary actor apparently received a huge remuneration for this role.
