The long-awaited trailer for “Kalki 2898 AD” is out. True to expectations, the trailer appears magnificent, with high-end visual effects, massive action sequences, production design on far with international standards, and a sci-fi story with mythology beautifully intertwined.
It lasts two minutes and fifty-one seconds and transports viewers into a mesmerizing realm. According to the trailer, Prabhas plays a guy who will do everything for “units” (money). For money, he offers to bring a female, who was abducted.
Amitabh Bachchan appears as the mysterious character Ashwatthama, and Deepika Padukone as a woman essential to the tale. Kamal Haasan appears in an entirely different avatar. He arrives at the end of the trailer.
Nag Ashwin’s “Kalki 2898 AD” aims to meet Hollywood’s standards for sci-fi thrillers. The video shows that Nag Ashwin has taken all of the themes and features of several Hollywood blockbusters and given them a twist by incorporating Indian mythology.
The visuals and action sequences are absolutely spectacular and intriguing.
There appears to be adequate emphasis on entertainment as well. Prabhas plays a character with a touch of comedy. Brahmanandam, a senior comedian, also has a big role. Disha Patani portrays another female lead.
Kalki 2898 AD, a futuristic science fiction spectacular, is set to be released on June 27, 2024.
