Probably this is the first time that the whole of the ‘available’ MEGA family members including Megastar Chiranjeevi, his wife Surekha, son Ram Charan, daughters and grandkids are attending the oath-taking ceremony of a Chief Minister. The whole of the Mega family already landed at Gannavaram airport, Vijayawada, thus surprising even political observers.
Of course, this ‘mega’ presence is an indication that “Janasena” president Pawan Kalyan, younger brother of Megastar, is likely to be taking oath as Deputy CM and Home Minister as being rumoured in political circles. Otherwise, if it is just for TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu’s oath-taking ceremony, surely the whole of the family wouldn’t have turned up. However, this presence of the Mega family is giving two highs to fans.
One thing is the fact that in the past Megastar Chiranjeevi tried to make his best of Prajarajyam Party but things didn’t work out. However, with Chiru announcing that he’s quitting politics, Pawan Kalyan took the legacy forward despite all the adversaries, and now he’s likely to become a top-level Minister and of course, a game changer in Andhra Pradesh. To witness Chiranjeevi witnessing Pawan’s swearing-in is the first high that fans would be getting.
The second high is that it is the same Andhra Pradesh under the leadership of erstwhile CM YS Jagan that invited Tollywood, under Chiranjeevi’s leadership, and made them request for the removal of so-called GO on movie-ticket prices. Chiranjeevi requested Jagan with folded hands, to call back that GO and give the producers (and the whole of industry) a sense of relief. This hurt the fans big time, as now at the same place, Chiranjeevi is being honoured as a Special Guest.
Well, that’s the Mega case of happiness for fans anyway!
