3 Maruti Suzuki Car Launches In Coming Months

Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturer, has been selling its products via two different outlets – Arena and Nexa. The Nexa premium dealership network has completed nine successful years and recently achieved the milestone of 25 lakh sales in the country. Interestingly, the Baleno hatchback accounts for over 56 percent of Nexa’s total sales. The automaker also inaugurated its 3,000th Arena sales outlet in Ludhiana, Punjab.

To maintain its dominance in the Indian automotive industry, the Indo-Japanese automaker plans to introduce a range of new products across different segments and new advanced technologies.

The fourth-generation Maruti Swift was the latest offering from Maruti Suzuki, and it will soon be followed by its CNG version. The hatchback’s CNG version will come with the same 1.2L, 3-cylinder petrol engine paired with a factory-fitted CNG kit placed in the boot space. Compared to the regular petrol motor, the CNG variant will deliver slightly less power and torque, but it will be high on mileage.

Maruti Suzuki will introduce a generational change to its popular Dzire compact sedan around the 2024 festive season. The 2024 Maruti Dzire will share its platform, multiple design elements, and features with the new Swift. The model lineup could also be offered with new exterior color options. It will come with the new 1.2L, 3-cylinder Z-Series petrol engine that debuted with the new Swift.

The Maruti eVX concept-based electric SUV will be the first EV offering from the Indo-Japanese automaker in the country. The model is likely to hit showrooms in early 2025. It’s expected to stay true to its concept and come with features such as ADAS tech, a 360-degree camera, frameless rearview mirrors, a floating center console with a rotary dial, and more. The electric SUV will underpin an all-new platform and could be offered with a 60kWh battery pack and an electric motor. Its range is expected to be around 500km on a single charge.
