NEW DELHI: Despite being bowled out for a mere 119 on a challenging track at Nassau County International Cricket Stadium in New York, Team India triumphed over arch-rivals Pakistan. They restricted Pakistan to 113 for 7 in a thrilling low-scoring encounter, securing victory by a narrow margin of six runs.
The standout performer of the match was Jasprit Bumrahwhose fiery spell of 3 for 14 in four overs turned the game in India’s favour and left Pakistan disappointed.
Amidst the intense India-Pakistan clash, the spotlight also fell on Bollywood actress Anushka Sharmawife of Virat Kohliwho was visibly upset in the stands during the match.
A video of her expressing displeasure while conversing with a man in the stands went viral on social media.
