Heat advisory all week: Heat index values could reach 100 at times

448 RIGHT NOW, WE ARE CONTINUING THE TREND WE’RE ON THE TREND. IT’S NOT OUT OF STYLE YET. I WISH IT WAS RIGHT. I’M OVER IT ALREADY. SO WE’RE LOOKING AT TODAY. I THINK THERE’S A LITTLE RELIEF IN THE AFTERNOON BRIEF. I MEAN, YOU’RE NOT GOING TO NOTICE MUCH, RIGHT? THE HUMIDITY DROPS OFF A LITTLE BIT. BUT IF WE SEE SOME SUNSHINE, THE TEMPERATURES GO UP. SO IN THE END IT’S STILL HOT. OKAY. YEAH. I APPRECIATE THE, THE THE TINY BIT. THERE’S NO BIG TIME RELIEF FOR US UNTIL WE GET INTO NEXT WEEK. SO THE HEAT CONTINUES. THOSE WEATHER IMPACT DAYS CONTINUE ALL THE WAY INTO THE WEEKEND. OUR TEMPERATURES, ACTUAL AIR TEMPERATURES ARE STAYING IN THE LOW 90S, BUT THE HUMIDITY IS A FACTOR, RIGHT? AND HAVING THOSE TROPICAL DEW POINTS AROUND 70 DEGREES MAKES IT FEEL LIKE EACH AFTERNOON BETWEEN 95 AND 99 DEGREES. AS FOR ANY SORT OF RAIN, RAIN WOULD BE A WELCOME SIGHT. IT BRINGS A LITTLE BIT OF RELIEF. YESTERDAY WE HAD ONE POP UP DOWNPOUR. I THINK IT’S GOING TO BE A SIMILAR SITUATION TODAY WHERE MOST OF US JUST SWEAT IT OUT. BUT ONCE WE GET INTO SUNDAY, THAT’S OUR NEXT CHANCE FOR MORE WIDESPREAD RAIN AS A COLD FRONT COMES IN AND IT’S GOING TO TAKE TWO COLD FRONTS TO REALLY KNOCK THIS HEAT AND HUMIDITY OUT OF HERE. SO THE HEAT ADVISORY HAS BEEN EXTENDED. IT NOW GOES THROUGH 8:00 SATURDAY EVENING FOR THE ENTIRE WLWT VIEWING AREA. AND EARLY THIS MORNING OUR TEMPERATURES ARE SITTING IN THE 70S AND WE’RE LOOKING PRETTY DRY HERE ACROSS OUR AREA. SO FOR TODAY, RIGHT NOW, 74 MOSTLY CLOUDY SKIES. WINDS ARE CALM. MORE THAN A BREEZE HELPS ON A SWELTERINGLY HOT DAY TODAY. THE WINDS ARE GOING TO BE HARD TO COME BY, SO I THINK YOU’RE JUST GOING TO BE SITTING IN THAT STEAMY FEEL THE DEW POINT CURRENTLY IS 70. SO AS WE GO THROUGH THE WEEK, IT’S JUST GOING TO KIND OF HANG THERE AT ABOUT 70 DEGREE DEW POINT. THAT TROPICAL FEEL. SO 9 A.M., 75 BY NOON WE’RE AT 86 FEELING MORE LIKE 89. WE GET TO THE MIDDLE OF THE AFTERNOON AND AROUND 90 OR SO FOR OUR HIGH AGAIN TODAY, BUT IT WILL FEEL LIKE AT LEAST THE MID 90S THERE IS A LITTLE DROP IN HUMIDITY THIS AFTERNOON, SO KIND OF FEELING LIKE THE LOW TO MID 90S FOR TODAY. OUR FUTURE CAST WILL SHOW SOME CLOUDS AROUND THIS MORNING. I THINK ONCE WE GET INTO THE AFTERNOON, MAYBE A LITTLE BIT MORE SUNSHINE AND THE POTENTIAL FOR AN ISOLATED POP UP, IT’S REALLY NOT A HUGE CHANCE FOR US FOR TODAY. SO 91 FOR THIS FIRST OFFICIAL DAY OF SUMMER, A WEATHER IMPACT DAY EXPECTED TO FEEL MORE LIKE THE UPPER 90S AND AN ISOLATED POP UP IS A POSSIBILITY TOMORROW IS MORE OF THE SAME, MAYBE A LITTLE BIT WARMER ON FRIDAY. EXPECT TEMPERATURES INTO THE LOW 90S IF YOU’RE HEADING OUT FRIDAY EVENING, MAYBE TO THE REDS GAME OR THE NEW KIDS ON THE BLOCK CONCERT. IT’S STILL GOING TO FEEL LIKE THE MID 90S. AT 8 P.M. AS FOR SATURDAY, OF COURSE WE’VE GOT THE BIG PRIDE PARADE STEPPING OFF AT 11 A.M. DOWNTOWN. IT’S GOING TO BE 87 ALREADY AT 11, FEELING MORE LIKE 93 FOR THE REDS AND RED SOX GAME SATURDAY AFTERNOON. FEELING LIKE 99. AND FOR THE JANET JACKSON CONCERT ON SATURDAY NIGHT. STILL FEELING LIKE 94. SO SATURDAY IS ANOTHER SWEATY DAY. SUNDAY WE’LL SEE MORE WIDESPREAD RAIN WITH AN EVENING COLD FRONT. IT’LL BRING LESS HUMID AIR IN ON MONDAY AND THEN THAT NEXT COLD FRONT ON WEDNESDAY IS THE ONE THAT LIKELY DOES THE TRICK AND BRINGS US COOLER TEMPERATURES AND LESS HUMID AIR. YEAH, SO IF YOU WERE GOING TO SAY THE PRIDE PARADE, THE REDS GAME AND THE JANET JACKSON
