We have been hearing about the deaths of Indians in the USA quite often in the recent past. In a tragic incident, a Telugu student was killed in a shooting at a convenience store in a gas station in America.
Getting into details, Dasari Gopikrishna, aged 32, was from Yajali in Karlapalem mandal of Bapatla district in Andhra Pradesh. He moved to the USA eight months ago for better career opportunities.

He used to work at a convenience store in a gas station in Pleasant Grove, Dallas, Texas, where the incident happened. He was at the counter on Saturday afternoon when an individual entered the store and opened fire.
Gopikrishna sustained fatal injuries in the firing and collapsed on the spot. He was immediately taken to the hospital. While undergoing treatment, he passed away in the early hours of Sunday.

His family, friends, and relatives were devastated by the passing of Gopikrishna. He is survived by his wife and son. Arrangements are being made to return his mortal remains to his hometown.
This deadly incident has been recorded on the CCTV cameras at the supermarket and the visuals are circulating on social media.
