YS Jagan Mohan Reddy ended up with a humiliating defeat in recent elections by winning just eleven out of the total 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.
The Chandrababu Naidu Government is strategically exposing all the wrong-doings of Jagan by exposing Rushikonda Palace and numerous Palaces being constructed across the state.

Most of the Sakshi’s high-paying employees were on Government Payroll in the last five years. And Sakshi has got a massive revenue from the Government Advertisements.
This meant a huge surplus for Sakshi. But now, the employees are being relieved from the Government and they should be paid by the company.

Also, there is no illegal serving of ads.
And also, there is going to be a big dent in the circulation as well.
While in power, the then Jagan Government granted an allowance of Rs 200 per month to 3.78 lakh employees and volunteers working with ward or village sachivalayams (secretariats) to subscribe to a newspaper.
They gave oral instructions that the Newspaper should be Sakshi.
It is around 7.5 Crore per month and 90 Crore Revenue per year for Sakshi.
Like this, Sakshi bumped its circulation as well as revenue.
The most circulated Newspaper, Eenadu has been fighting a legal battle in the Delhi High Court over this for the last two years.
The Government will stop this allowance with immediate effect and the 3.78 Lakh illegal subscriptions will be lost.
Naturally, there will be a dent in the circulation as most Sakshi readers are Party sympathizers. They are completely demoralized and lost interest in politics. They would stop purchasing the Newspaper for a while.
The next few years are going to be very tough for Sakshi.
