Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) registered total sales of 1,74,551 units in May 2024 as opposed to 1,78,083 units in the corresponding month last year. The company recorded a marginal growth in the domestic passenger vehicle sales with major contribution coming from the utility vehicles (UVs). With an aim to further boost its sales figures, the Indo-Japanese automaker is offering attractive discounts on its SUVs including Fronx, Grand Vitara and Jimny.
The Maruti Grand Vitara is currently running on total benefits of up to Rs 1.4 lakh. Its Delta, Zeta and Alpha trims are available on discounts of up to Rs 64,000 including a cash benefit of Rs 30,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 and corporate benefits. One can avail discounts of Rs 34,000 on the CNG Sigma variant and Rs 14,000 on the other CNG variants. The strong hybrid trims are now available with Rs 50,000 cash discount and Rs 50,000 exchange bonus along with corporate benefits.
Buyers can avail benefits of up to Rs 1.5 lakh on the Maruti Jimny’s Alpha variant and discounts of Rs 50,000 on Zeta trim. The Maruti Suzuki Fronx 1.2L petrol manual and AMT variants come with cash discount of Rs 20,500 and Rs 25,500, respectively. There is also an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 and Rs 2,000 of corporate benefits. The Fronx turbo variants can be had with a cash discount of Rs 35,000, Rs 10,000 of exchange bonus and corporate discounts. Buyers can also opt for the Velocity Accessories Edition worth Rs 45,000. The Maruti Brezza comes only with an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000.
One must note that the carmaker is offering an additional Rs 5,000 scrappage bonus on scrapping buyers’ existing car and purchasing in exchange with new Maruti Nexa car. However, Maruti Suzuki terms and conditions will be applicable to this offer. All aforementioned discounts may vary city-wise and subjected to the availability of stock.
