The global-spec Nissan X-Trail comes with a host of features including Nissan Connect telematics, a 360 degree camera, multi zone climate control, ventilated seats and Google-based software with an integrated Google suite of apps. While the high trims will come with the free-standing 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster, the lower variants will get an 8-inch info unit and smaller instrument console. As of now, there is no clarity whether these features will be offered on the India-spec X-Trail or not.

Specifications are yet to be announced officially. However, the media reports suggest that the X-trail will be offered with a single 1.5L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine. The motor, paired to a CVT automatic gearbox and AWD setup, delivers a claimed power of 204bhp and 305Nm of torque. In India, the SUV won’t get mild or strong hybrid powertrains. Rumour has it that Nissan might consider introducing its strong hybrid version at a later stage.
