Dembele was given the nod ahead of Bayern Munich’s Kinglsey Coman and Paris Saint-Germain teammate Randal Kolo Muani.
However, it’s not known who will replace Dembele in the side, with Coman returning from injury recently and Muani low on confidence.
The former Barcelona winger came into the Euros on the back o a productive season which saw him score score six goals and provide 14 assists in all competitions for PSG.
Dembele’s case is not helped by the fact that France’s forward line is yet to click, with no player in the side yet to score in the tournament.
Following the stalemate with the Netherlands, Deschamps insisted he’s not concerned about his side’s lack of firepower in the absence of Kylian Mbappe.
‘I am not concerned,’ the France boss said on Friday night.

‘It is just the name of the game. Sometimes you have countless chances and don’t hit the back of the net and sometimes it is the other way round.
‘I would be worried if there were not any chances. Efficiency at high-level football is important and it is something we can work on.’
