Headlined by Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan, the ensemble promises an unparalleled cinematic spectacle.

As the countdown to its release nears its climax, the industry buzz is electrifying, with expectations soaring for a monumental debut at the box office.

Kalki 2898 AD has already secured over 120,000 tickets across top national chains like PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis for its Hindi release, with projections aiming for an impressive 150,000 tickets sold by showtime.

Compared with Prabhas’ last film, Salaar, which sold 75,000-80,000 advance tickets, Kalki 2898 AD is poised to double those numbers, thanks to Prabhas’ stardom, novel subject, and better pre-release hype.

Industry analysts predict an opening day collection between Rs 23-25 crores net, potentially setting a new record for the biggest Hindi opening of the year, surpassing Hrithik Roshan’s Fighter which collected around 24 crores.

A week ago, a 15 crore opening also looked tough in the Hindi version. But the bookings proved that there was an undercurrent for the film after its trailer which no one could predict.

With a huge release amid no competition, elevated ticket pricing, and peak anticipation, Kalki 2898 AD is on track to achieve a global opening surpassing Rs 175 crores, including premieres.

Optimistic forecasts even suggest the film could cross the Rs 450 crore mark worldwide within its first four days, provided positive word of mouth prevails.

The path to achieving approximately Rs 800 crores (break-even mark) seems well within reach, but it all depends on word of mouth.
