Sunita Williams: There is big news about the Boeing Starliner that will carry Sunita Williams and other astronauts to the International Space Station (ISS). In which a technical fault in the spacecraft is delaying the return of the astronaut to earth. Now the question has arisen as to when Indian origin astronaut Sunita Williams will return to earth.

Spacecraft defects will be fixed: Engineers

Ever since the astronauts of the Boeing Starliner have planned their journey to the space center, there have been some problems. Astronauts were sent to the International Space Center (ISS) for the third time after two technical glitches. Now they are facing difficulty in returning from ISS when the spacecraft malfunctions. In this matter, engineers say that soon the astronauts will be brought back to earth by removing the defects of the spacecraft.

Only limited fuel remained in the Harmony module

The return module of the Starliner spacecraft docked at the Harmony module of the ISS. However, the Harmony module has only limited fuel left. On the other hand, the return journey could not start due to helium leakage from five places in Starline. According to a report, the Starliner has five thrusters that stopped working. In this matter, NASA has given a big information and said that the return of the Starliner, which carried the first team of astronauts, has been postponed.

NASA doesn’t want to take any risks

Also, NASA has not given a new date for the return of the team members including Sunita Williams. It may be noted that earlier the return of the spacecraft was fixed on June 26. The return has been avoided three times before. NASA doesn’t want to take any risks to make sure there are no misses on the 6-hour flight. This time Sunita Williams has been in space for 322 days. Then the concern of the people of the whole world including India is increasing.

Tragedy happened with Kalpana Chawla

About 21 years ago today, the first Indian woman in space, Kalpana Chawla, was a victim of an accident during a space mission. On that day in 2003, the Spacecraft Columbia crashed as it entered Earth’s atmosphere. NASA, then, is once again on alert to avoid such a mishap as another Indian-origin astronaut Sunita Williams’ attempts to return to Earth have had to be aborted three times.
