Ladywalk in the sleepy village of Tevin in Hertfordshire witnessed the wedding of Siddharth Mallya and Jasmine. The sprawling Ladywalk estate was bought by Vijay Mallya in 2015, just months before he fled India to the UK.
68-year-old multi-millionaire Vijay Mallya is currently in the UK. He is an accused in a loan fraud case of more than 900 crores. ED and Central Bureau of Investigation are investigating the matter.
Vijay Mallya had bought the Ladywalk estate in Hertfordshire from Anthony Hamilton, father of F1 champion Lewis Hamilton. According to a 2021 Rediff report, the property has all the hallmarks of being owned by the self-proclaimed ‘King of Good Times’.
The grand residence here is situated on 30 acres of land. The three-house estate has multiple outhouses, swimming pools, fountains and tennis courts. It also includes a garage capable of handling Mallya’s large fleet of expensive cars.

Ever since Mallya acquired the property, builders, architects, decorators and landscape artists have been frequent visitors. His estate is heavily guarded with multiple CCTV cameras, an iron gate and multiple security guards, local media said. Villagers said that the Mallya family brought a large number of cars and staff with them when they came here.
