3:30AM IST “Kalki” is a wondrous fictional film and synonym for grand filmmaking. A truly cinematic universe begins on the Indian screen, on par with Hollywood productions. There are many goosebump-inducing moments throughout, although some scenes are narrated rather flatly. The graph drops down significantly in second half but the magnificient climax rescues the film. The mythological parts of the film worked in favor, the sci-fi parts are not that effective Prabhas fans will go wild in the second half. The characters played by Amitabh and Prabhas truly stand out. The negatives of the film include a 20-minute stretch post-interval and a few slow scenes in the first half. The film features numerous cameos and surprise elements. Commercially this film is a watchable for all genres. Go for It !

Pan-Indian star Prabhas has been struggling for success from a long time. The actor has a series of big budget films lined up. He is all set with his biggest ever film Kalki 2898 AD directed by Nag Ashwin and the film features Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Disha Patani in the other lead roles. Prestigious production house Vyjayanthi Movies bankrolled the film.
