As soon as the information was received, several fire engines rushed to the spot and took charge. An official of the Delhi Fire Service said, “At around 5.30 am we received information about the roof collapse at Terminal-1 of Delhi Airport. Three fire engines have been sent to the spot.”
After this accident, Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu posted on Twitter, ‘I am personally monitoring the incident of roof collapse at Delhi Airport’s T1. First rescue teams are working at the spot. Also, airlines have been advised to help all the affected passengers at T1. The injured have been taken to the hospital. Rescue operations are still going on.’

They have been rescued with great difficulty. Many people have been seriously injured in this accident, who have been taken to the hospital for treatment.

The Meteorological Department had issued an alert
Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in Delhi on 29 and 30 June. Apart from this, IMD had also predicted rain with winds of 30 to 40 kmph and thunderstorms in Delhi and its surrounding areas on 28 June. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Delhi can remain between 34 to 37 degree Celsius this whole week and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 27 to 28 degree Celsius.
The weather department has predicted light to moderate rain with thunderstorms in Noida between June 28 and July 2. Strong winds will also blow during this period. According to IMD, the maximum temperature of Noida is likely to be between 32 to 39 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is likely to be around 25 to 28 degrees Celsius throughout this week.
Monsoon will arrive in Delhi on this day
Monsoon usually enters Delhi between 27 and 29 June. According to official data, last year it arrived on 26 June, while the first monsoon rain of 2022 was recorded on 30 June. However, this time the monsoon may arrive around 29 to 30 June, after which a period of heavy rain will start in Delhi.
According to weather forecasting agency Skymet, the northern boundary of the monsoon will cover a large part of the country in the next 3-4 days. During this time, this stream will move strongly to cover large parts of the Indo-Gangetic plains and northern mountains and move towards the national capital. At the same time, monsoon may also arrive a little earlier than time in some parts of Punjab-Haryana. Monsoon is likely to arrive in Delhi anytime between 28 and 30 June.
