The Hindi box office has finally had a breather again in the form of Kalki which has started off on a bright note at the North Indian belt. Kalki has opened with the best-of-the-year numbers in the Hindi belt.

The film has reportedly opened in the range of Rs 21 crore which is the highest in the Hindi belt with the earlier best being Rs 20.5 crore(Fighter).
Surprisingly, the film is trending atop in mass belts like UP and Bihar which are contributing to the revenues substantially.

Another crucial belt, Mumbai posted ordinary numbers and this could have been due to the important cricket game between India and England last night. Better growth is expected tonight with the word of mouth being encouraging.
The mythological aspect of Mahabharatha is said to be helping the film big time and bringing the masses to the theaters.

Kalki has taken a substantial jump from the earlier Rs 15 crore expected opening and started off on the best of 2024 noted.
Analysts are projecting that the film has a huge Sunday on cards with the encouraging word of mouth and the existing vacuum for big event films.
