Tata Motors has confirmed three new SUV launches for the current financial year including the Nexon CNG, Curvv EV and Harrier EV. All three vehicles were showcased at the first edition of the Bharat Mobility Show in January 2024. Here’re key details of the upcoming Tata SUVs.

Tata Nexon CNG

The Tata Nexon CNG will be the first turbocharged CNG car in the country. The model will come with the regular 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine and a factory-fitted CNG kit. Similar to other Tata CNG cars, the Nexon CNG will be benefited with the twin cylinder CNG tech measuring 30-litres each. Both CNG tanks will be placed underneath the boot floor, thus creating decent luggage space in the cargo.

Tata Curvv

Tata Curvv Diesel

Tata Curvv EV will be the fifth electric offering in the country, which will be followed by its diesel version during 2025 festive season. The Curvv petrol is likely to arrive slightly later. The coupe-SUV’s electric iteration will be based on Tata’s Gen 2 acti.ev architecture and deliver a range of around 450km – 500km. Its diesel and petrol versions will feature the Nexon’s 1.5L, 4-cylinder and new 125bhp, 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo engines.

Interior of the Curvv EV will share resemblance with the Nexon such as the dashboard design and a four-spoke illuminated steering wheel. Similar to the Harrier and Safari, the Tata Curvv EV will have a dual screen measuring 10.25-inch each. Features such as ventilated front seats, wireless charger, 360 degree camera, connected car tech and a sunroof might also be on offer.

Tata Harrier EV

The electric SUV might feature a 60kWh battery, an electric motor and AWD setup. Its range is expected to around 500km on a single charge.
