A tragic incident occurred in Missouri, USA, where a student from Telangana lost his life in a drowning accident.
Kiran, who hailed from Chinna Korukondi village in Khammam district, had gone to the US for higher studies.

On Saturday, he went swimming with three friends at the Sand Hills Town. Unfortunately, Kiran did not know how to swim and drowned despite his friends’ efforts to save him.
Kiran moved to the US in November 2023 and was pursuing his MS degree in Sandhills Town.

Kiran’s father had passed away, and his mother currently resides in Hyderabad. His grandfather, Krishnamurthy Raju, had been taking care of Kiran’s responsibilities and had supported his education and journey to the US.
The news of Kiran’s untimely death has plunged his family into deep sorrow. The village of Chinna Korukondi is engulfed in mourning, and Kiran’s body is expected to arrive in his hometown by Thursday.
