Nag Ashwin’s “Kalki 2898 AD” is performing well overseas, and as the crucial second week run approaches in India next week starting Monday, a sudden controversy has erupted on X (Twitter).
The controversy began when Megastar Chiranjeevi praised the film “Kalki” and tweeted that he was looking forward to watching it. Director Nag Ashwin simply responded with, “Thank you so much, sir looking forward to you seeing it :)).”

However, when Rajinikanth heaped praise on the film, Nag Ashwin quoted his tweet and posted a message: “Sir… speechless…. blessed…. from our whole team .”
This disparity has upset the Mega fans, who are criticizing Nag Ashwin for showing favoritism when both stars are equally prominent. Twitter is flooded with comments on the matter.
