Carlos Alcaraz Makes a Heartbreaking Revelation About His Mother’s Sacrifice for His Younger Brothers

Having family by his side is a big deal for Carlos Alcaraz. But because of different situations, things are not always on a positive note for the younger Spaniard. While they witnessed him lift the French Open title live, there is a reason why his mother isn’t present for all his matches. Recently, the 21-year-old tennis star made an emotional admission regarding his mother’s absence.

In a recent conversation, before starting his Wimbledon journey, he opened up about his connections and revealed his family equations, including his brother’s roles in his life. He stated, “When I finish a tournament, it doesn’t matter if I win or not, I just want to get home to be with my family. I live with my mum and dad, my older brother and two younger brothers. To them I am not a big tennis star, just a normal guy.”

But at the same time, his mother is not there with him, leaving a void for the 21-year-old tennis player, as he gives his 100% in his matches. Further, he added, “One of the things about tennis is that you travel a lot and my dad and older brother come with me. My older brother is my hitting partner. But Mum can’t come because she is looking after the two little ones. So getting home is great because I miss them. The longer you are away, the more you realise how much you need them.”
